The COMET3 software is mainly based on the ideal model of fractured media. The simulation results have certain guiding significance for guiding practical engineering applications. The software can accurately invert the natural gas ground drainage process in coal reservoirs and shale reservoirs according to the actual parameters of the project drainage. It is a three-component, two-phase, single-hole, two-hole or three-porosity simulator that can be used to simulate gas-water two-phase flow controlled by analytical action. COMET3 uses a finite difference method to simulate a coalbed methane reservoir in three dimensions.
